Regrettably, we are unable to accept PayPal payments. We are very sorry to have to withdraw this most useful service.
The Small Print - Conditions of Hire
2. Bookings are deemed provisional until the booking form has been returned together with the required deposit of £100 OR if the booking is made less than 6 weeks before the start date of the holiday the total rent due.
3. Upon receipt of your booking form and deposit we will send you a confirmation of booking detailing the balance which is due six weeks before arrival.
4. On the issue of a confirmation of booking the hirer is responsible for the total advertised price shown thereon.
5. Non payment of the full fee at the due date will be treated as a cancellation and the Owner will re-let the property without reference to the Hirer who remains liable for the full amount.
6. The booking deposit cannot be refunded at this stage.
7. In the event of cancellation, whilst every endeavour will be made to re-let, refunds can only be made if this is achieved. The later the date of cancellation the less likely this can be done.
8. The cottage sleeps four people, although babies under 2 years old will not be included as a member of your party. Accommodation is only for the persons named on the booking form.

10. Well behaved dogs are welcome - please name them on the booking form. We charge £20 per stay for extra cleaning after canine guests.
11. No groups of young people can be accepted.
12. Baggage, personal belongings and vehicles (including hire cars) are at the owner's/hirer's risk at all times.
13. The hirer undertakes to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and conditions as at the commencement of the holiday.
14. The Owner shall be compensated for any breakages and damage which occurs during occupancy. All damages must be reported accordingly.
15. We reserve the right to ask anyone found to be causing a problem or nuisance to our property or neighbours to leave.
16. The Owner/Owner's representative is to be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during the holiday occupancy.
17. The Owner cannot accept any responsibility for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience whether to person or property, which the hirer or any other person may suffer, or occur arising out of or connected in any way with the letting of Chapel Cottage
18. As Forty Queen Street has a no-shoes policy, we advise that slippers are provided however we accept no liability for any injury accident caused in the course of using them.
19. Forty Queen Street may later on contact you with details about the cottage or events nearby on the island, not connected with your reservation. If you DO NOT wish us to do so, please let us know.
20.Completion of the booking form implies acceptance of all the above conditions.
21. Hirers are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance to cover the above risks
22. Forty Queen Street is entirely No Smoking. Forfeit of the refundable £100 breakage/damage/cleaning deposit will result if this rule is broken
